Lion's Den

I need an outlet, so I guess I'll just write. My bestie birthday was yesterday a "Cinco de Mayo" baby at heart, and we decided to go to Chevy's for their happy hour/all night celebration. There were so many people, we were more like a can of sardines floating in a beer flavored water. Although I was more like the designated driver for the night. I was having a good time because everyone was having a good time, just chilling. We decided to leave to go to a local bar/lounge which was having their own party. It was completely dead in the beginning, but we made the best of it and we all were having a good time. Maybe too good of a time because of course someone decided to ruin our Fun Train, by starting an all out brawl and jumping one of the people that I was with. I'm not a fighter and I typically stay away from any types of fight, but it felt like a Lioness with her cubs. I immediately got involved not to fight the 10 people who wanted to fight 1 person, but to protect and to shield the 1 person that matter to me. It broke my heart into a million pieces to see all that happen, but I'm just super glad that it didn't get an uglier than what it was.

I'll never understand the Pride/Ego Fights that people like to have at parties, and I don't think i'll ever will. Guess its time to get my dancing shoes bronzed and hung on a trophy shelf or to find a new crowd.

WE DEFINITELY GOT TO DO BETTER! WE ALL DESERVE BETTER THAN FIGHTING EACH OTHER.

Praying to God and saying Thank You,
